Tried - more or less successfully, the following, using iMovie, Keynote, Garage Band and Quicktime.
- Title in iMovie
- clips from DSLR, one a time-lapse of dawn
- urinal shot on iPhone
- effects (Duchamps) in Keynote, saved as .mov and imported to iMovie
- credits added
- Saved as .mov
- imported to Garage Band for soundtrack (copyright free)
- exported to Quicktime for final trim
Areas for improvement
- timelapse a bit jerky - increase interval from 4 sec to 2 sec?
- way too fast - needed a few seconds to establish - did this vanish when using smoothing?
- lighting of face - too dark. need more window light, reflector used on RHS needs to be closer
- timing of all the clips need refinement
- credits way too fast
- sound? voiceover questions??
- etc, etc
- Tried to do too much
- iMovie seriously lacking in flexibility. Have not used for sometime but feel it is becoming simplified and less suitable for discerning makers. May have to go back and look at Final Cut Pro, or, buy Premiere!!!
- Lot more potential in Keynote to explore however
